GLOBAL - Milliman Global, the consulting and actuarial network, has named Fixage's Dominique Piermay as chair of its board of directors.

Piermay, who is a founder and leading partner of Fixage, the Milliman member firm in France, succeeds Bob Collett who is retiring after eight years in the role.

"Dominique Piermay was the board's unanimous choice for this position," said Milliman Global executive director Carl Hansen. "She brings impressive credentials in international business management." Piermay has served on the Milliman Global board and on various steering groups since Fixage joined the organization in 2002.

Hansen cited "her understanding of the delicate balance between local knowledge and global expertise that has made Milliman Global the leading independent actuarial organization in the world".

Piermay will continue to lead Paris-based Fixage, which was founded in 1992.

"It is an honour to lead such a prestigious organization, whose core values so closely parallel my own: integrity, quality work, superior client service, independence and creativity in problem solving," Piermay said.
