UK – Gartmore Investment Management has made three senior appointments to its distribution businesses. Frances Davies has become head of global institutional business, Steen Steincke has joined as head of global bancassurance ex-UK and Paul Feeney has been appointed head of UK retail.

Davies joins from GMO Woolley, where she was managing director. Prior to that, she was a board director of Deutsche Asset Management. Her mandate at Gartmore is to implement its UK and international institutional business strategy.

Steincke joins from Alliance Capital where he was global head of non-US retail sales. Steincke has some 28 years experience in European and global financial services, including five as managing director of Fleming Asset Management’s European distribution.

Feeney joins from NatWest Private Banking and replaces Michael Wrobel, who is leaving to pursue other interests after seven years with Gartmore.
