An unnamed German pension fund has turned to IPE Quest in the search for an investment grade fixed income strategy for a €100m-200m investment.

There should be no high yield and no structured credit. Subordination should be capped at 15%.

A minimum track record of three years is preferred.

The investor requires management through a segregated account. Experience with Germany-based institutional investors and/or with a German KVG is also preferred.

Conformity with the German insurance supervision act (VAG) should be ensured.

The investor has also expressed a preference for high value added/Sharpe ratio strategies.

Separately, a Swiss pension fund is seeking ideas for pooled investment in emerging market government and corporate debt, local or hard currency.

According to Discovery DS-2762, the investor is open to all styles and management can be active or passive.
