GSAM appoints head of distribution in Germany
GERMANY- Goldman Sachs Asset Management has appointed Michael Klimek as head of third party distribution in Germany.
Klimek joins from INVESCO Kapitalanlagegesellschaft and INVESCO Fondsservice where he was managing director.
Klimek has been allocated the task of distributing funds through banks, their asset management companies and, to a lesser extent, insurance companies.
Goldman Sachs entered the German market in 1998 now employs 28 and manages assets of e3.5bn.
