UK – London based international actuaries and consultancy firm, Hymans Robertson (HR), has published its 16th annual survey of the UK’s major pension fund managers, entitled The Big 50.

The survey provides an overview of managers’ corporate structure, products offered, funds under management, professional resources and key people.

The report also contains qualitative assessments of the companies, their core products and general prospects.

Says George Henshilwood, chair of HR’s manager review group: “We believe that the survey contributes to transparency and accountability, which are high profile themes for the institutional investment industry. Our comment is not a judgement. The survey is intended as a qualitative assessment to add to the statistical data provided in the tables and graphics.”
