Insight replaces departed multi-manager team

UK – Insight Investments has replaced the multi-manager team it lost to Gartmore with a four-strong team from UBS.

Patrick Armstrong, Ana Cucik-Munro, Eugen Fostiak and Francios Zagame will be joining Insight Investment in January and will report to Nigel Whittingham, managing director of multi-manager products.

Armstrong was director and head of fund and manager selection for managed accounts programmes. Cucik-Munro was director, head of portfolio construction for managed accounts programme.

Fostiak was deputy head of portfolio construction at UBS managed accounts programme. Zagame was head of manager and fund research at UBS, responsible for the evaluation and ranking of funds and investment managers.

The managed accounts multi-manager platform at UBS received a top ranking from Cerulli Associates, a fund of funds strategy specialist. UBS declined to comment.

Insight lost five of its multi-manager team to Gartmore Investment Management in August.
