GLOBAL – There are two new searches, for offshore property and global emerging markets, on IPE-Quest.

An investment adviser has started a search for an offshore global diversified property fund for a mandate worth about $50m (€40.9m).

The investment adviser, which is in charge of assets of over $1bn, said the mandate size depends on clients accepting its advice.

UK, US or European funds will also be considered providing that they are adequately diversified and domiciled offshore. Funds investing into specialist areas will not be considered.

The adviser is prepared to consider both passive and active styles but finds a fund of funds solution giving diversified exposure to global property ideal. It prefers share classes in various currencies and is also open to benchmark suggestions. Applications must be forwarded by July 13.

Meanwhile, an Australian multi-manager has tendered a US$20m (€16.3m) global emerging markets equity core brief.

The mandate must be managed in an active style and benchmarked against the MSCI Global Emerging Markets.

Candidates must have at least three years experience, although five would be preferred. The multi-manager also seeks a firm with $US1bn in assets under management of which $US200m in the product area.

The multi-manager is looking for bottom-up fundamental analysis with analysts residing in local markets. This search closes on June 30.
