The firm, which is not setting any minimum acceptance level for institutional business, says it is pursuing custody business up to £1bn in value and is currently involved in five potential UK mandate opportunities.
Kas has also announced that is reviewing the name of its operations in the UK and elsewhere in Europe and will have a new moniker in place by the third quarter this year.

Lauren Vis, managing director, institutional banking, comments: “We are very pleased Ben is joining Ian Ratoff and Ben Kramer to roll out our custody platform in the UK. The roll-out in the UK is particularly exciting and we believe we have a team in place to satisfy the demand in the market for our niche product offering.”
