SWEDEN – Stockholm-based asset management company, KPA Kapitalförvaltning has promoted its head of sales, Wiveka Looström to chief executive officer.

Looström, who has been at KPA Kapitalförvaltning since 1998, takes over from acting CEO, Gunnar Ormeus who will continue to work alongside Looström in his role as managing director.

KPA Kapitalförvaltning is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swedish financial and insurance group, Folksam and has some SKr 15bn (€1.6bn) under management.

It is a socially responsible investment specialist and doesn’t invest in companies that are said to violate human rights, harm the environment, manufacture arms, alcohol and tobacco and get involved in gambling.
