Swiss pension fund seeks manager for $500m emerging markets mandate

A Swiss pension fund has initiated a search for a passive emerging market equities manager via IPE Quest.

According to search QN-2469, the unnamed investor wants to allocate $500m (€434.8m) to the mandate.

It will be benchmarked against the MSCI Emerging Markets index. The maximum tracking error is 0.5%.

Managers bidding for the contract must have at least $1bn in the strategy already, and $10bn in assets across the firm.

They have a track record in the strategy of at least five years, and should state performance net of fees to 31 July 2018.

Bids should be submitted by 5pm UK time on 4 September.
