UK- The recently re-named Mercer Human Resource Consulting has lost its investment consulting head of marketing and business development David Tucker to a similar role at TGM Asset Management in London. TGM started life in 1997 as a tactical asset allocation manager but has since moved into currency overlay and hedge funds.

Established originally in Brisbane, Australia, TGM launched a UK office last year designed to spearhead an expansion into the European and US markets. TGM remains headquartered in Australia but the UK office now employs a fifth of the total 35 employees.

Tucker’s new role sees him masterminding TGM’s overall marketing strategy as well as being responsible for business development in the UK, Europe and the US.

Prior to Mercers, Tucker worked in a partnership with Alexander Howden and Holland Corporation advising government agencies and was managing director in the UK for the financial services company First Phoenix Securities.

TGM is launching a new global macro fund towards the end of the month.
