GERMANY - Nordea Investment Management says it has named Jan Albers as director of institutional sales for Germany.

He will be based in Koenigstein and joins from Baring Asset Management where he had a similar role, Nordea said. A Baring spokeswoman said the firm was currently recruiting Albers’ replacement.

"Since Nordea Investment Management opened our German office in 2000, we have established a presence in Germany upon which we want to build further strength, and provide high quality local service to our German clients," said Nordea’s global sales head Klaus Godiksen.

Nordea Investment Management is the institutional client management division of Nordea Asset Management.
