UK – Law firm Norton Rose has hired Martha Quinn from Dundas & Wilson to be a senior associate in its pensions team.

Quinn has “extensive experience in all aspects of pensions, particularly in connection with the local government pension schemes in the context of PFI projects”, the firm said.

Norton Rose pensions partner Lesley Browning, who jointly heads the pensions practice with Peter Ford, said: "Martha brings with her a wealth of experience having acted on many high profile transactions involving multi-jurisdictional and specialised pension schemes.

“She has extensive knowledge of a range of aspects from PFI projects to corporate restructuring to Pensions Ombudsman cases.”

Quinn will focus on “high profile” pension issues for the 12-strong team, Browning said. She said the team’s growth is being driven by the growth of free-standing work. Browning and Ford joined Norton Rose from rival firm Nabarro in 2001.
