PMT, Fidelity International, M&G, Veritas, Nordea, AkademikerPension, T-50, ICPM
Veritas – Elina Fogelholm has been appointed as the next chief executive officer of Finnish pensions insurance company Veritas, and began work at the firm on 9 December.
She will officially move into the position of CEO in spring 2026, at the end of her induction period, becoming the permanent replacement for Carl Haglund, the previous CEO.
Haglund left Veritas earlier this year to “pursue new opportunities outside the company”, the firm announced back in June.
Fogelholm, who most recently worked as head of business customers Finland at Danske Bank, will take over CEO duties next year from Tommy Sandås, Veritas’ chief financial officer, who will serve as interim CEO until the end of her induction period, the earnings-related pension provider said.
T-50 – Hamid Asseffar, former head of EMEA sustainable and impact investing at Invesco, has launched T50, an Irish ICAV investment platform focused on helping institutional and professional investors efficiently capture untapped investment opportunities in emerging markets through both listed and blended finance solutions.
Asseffar has an extensive emerging markets experience across public markets and blended finance, having spent six years at Invesco in roles including head of EMEA sustainable and impact investing, head of Asset Managers, UK and ETF business development director. He previously held roles at Amundi and Credit Suisse.
The new platform will introduce a distinctive approach to emerging markets investing through a solution-driven approach, collaborating with leading financial institutions in emerging markets to deliver innovative and scalable products tailored to address the challenges investors face when deploying capital to these markets, the firm said.
AkademikerPension – Sebastian Bille-Brahe Raahauge has been hired by the Danish pension fund as the new investment manager in its real estate team.
He started work in the role in November, and the pension fund said on LinkedIn his tasks would include investing in real estate with the aim of expanding the portfolio over the next few years.
Raahauge joins from Danish commercial property brokerage Nordicals København, where he was director, capital markets from June 2024 – a role in which he primarily worked with real estate transactions, according to the pension fund.
M&G – Simon Tasker has been appointed as chief transformation officer to lead change and transformation activity across the M&G group, reporting to CEO Andrea Rossi.
Tasker will join on 12 January 2026 and become a member of the firm’s group executive committee, subject to regulatory approval. He is a highly experienced transformation leader with more than three decades of experience delivering large-scale growth, integration and restructuring in complex, regulated organisations, including Barclays and NatWest (formerly RBS).
Tasker was previously a partner at Deloitte and held senior leadership roles at Credit Suisse, including managing director, head of strategic change, legal entity structuring and transformation.
He succeeds Benoît Macé, who has chosen to leave M&G at the end of the year after more than three years with the firm to pursue new challenges.
Nordea Life & Pension – Maria Seim has been appointed as the interim CEO of Nordea Life & Pension (Nordea Liv) in Norway, having been head of private at the business since January 2023, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She is replacing, on a temporary basis, CEO Hans-Erik Lind, who has switched roles within the Nordea subsidiary to become its head of business banking Norway.
Lind was CEO of Nordea Life & Pension in Norway since October 2020.
PMT – Caspar Vlaar has been named president of PMT, the Dutch pension fund for the metals processing sector, on behalf of workers and pensioners.
Vlaar will succeed Mieke van Veldhuizen, who served as interim president since 2024, as of 1 January 2026 when the pension fund is scheduled to move to a new defined contribution arrangement.
Vlaar has been on the board of PMT since 2023 and has been vice chair of the fund’s investment committee since 2024. He also serves on the boards of two other pension funds – Pensioenfonds PostNL and Pensioenfonds KPN. At both funds, he’s a member of their respective investment committees.
International Centre for Pension Management (ICPM) – Adrian Trollor has joined in the newly-created role of managing director, while Alex Lemaire joined as interim administration manager.
Trollor will support various ICPM initiatives and operations to strengthen organisational resiliency and will also “play an anchoring role in the Asia-Pacific region to further grow our global offerings and ensure coverage of all time zones”, said Sebastien Betermier, ICPM executive director.
Trollor is a senior investment executive with a 20+ year track record in championing investment innovation and generating value through sustainable and high-performing investment strategies. Most recently serving as head of portfolio delivery at NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp), he oversaw investment of $80bn of client portfolios within a $110bn investment program.
Trollor has also led ICPM’s Working Group on Total Portfolio Approach throughout 2025.
Lemaire brings several years of experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams, and boards with a focus on governance, organisational coordination, and project management. Her background includes streamlining processes, improving communication, and helping teams operate more efficiently.
Swedish Pensions Agency – Eva Nilsson has been appointed as chief legal officer at the Swedish Pensions Agency (Pensionsmyndigheten) in Stockholm, and will take up the role on 1 January 2026, becoming part of the authority’s management team.
Her most recent job was chief legal officer at the Swedish Work Environment Authority, and before that she worked in a similar role at Statistics Sweden and the Södermanland County Administrative Board, the agency said.
Fidelity International – The global asset manager and retirement savings business has appointed Samantha Ricciardi as head of EMEA, effective March 2026.
Ricciardi, currently CEO of Santander Asset Management, will be responsible for leading the continued growth and strategic development of Fidelity International’s EMEA business. She will be based in Madrid and spend regular time across the region.
In her role at Santander, Ricciardi led the transformation of the business into a top-tier European asset manager, achieving strong year-on-year growth and spearheading a wide range of strategic initiatives. Previously, she held senior roles at BlackRock, including managing director for EMEA and country head for BlackRock Mexico.
