AustralianSuper – The largest superannuation fund in Australia has hired former SAMCo deputy CIO Bob Debi-Tewari as its new head of international equity portfolio, based in the fund’s London office. Debi-Tewari joins the fund’s international equities team from Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo) where he was also head of equities and externally managed funds.
In his new role, Debi-Tewari will be responsible for the overall management and performance of AustralianSuper’s international equity portfolio.

Debi-Tewari is the latest in a string of senior appointments at AustralianSuper’s London office, which the fund said reinforces its “commitment to deepening its global investment capabilities and delivering long-term value for its more than 3.6 million members”.
The fund has appointed Sophie Dupré-Echeverria as head of group risk and compliance, international. Dupré-Echeverria brings more than two decades of experience in risk and compliance leadership in global financial services firms, most recently serving as chief risk and compliance officer at Gulf International Bank (UK).
AustralianSuper has also hired David Page as head of macroeconomic research. He was previously head of macro research at AXA Investment Managers.
In the private credit space, Alexandre Bretz has joined AustralianSuper as senior investment director, European private credit. Bretz is supporting the pension fund’s continued expansion into European private credit, leveraging his 20 years of real assets debt experience to source and manage high-quality investment opportunities.
Additionally, Emma Halley has been appointed as the fund’s head of portfolio construction. Halley joined from Aviva Investors, where she led investment process development across multi-asset strategies. In her new role she will help shape AustralianSuper’s asset allocation and risk-adjusted return strategies across the fund’s global portfolio.
Erkki Liikanen, co-chair of the council, said Knot’s appointment “broadens our European representation and adds further international perspective to our discussions”.
Knot served as DNB’s president from July 2011 to July 2025 and chaired the Financial Stability Board from December 2021 to July 2025. He also held key roles at the European Central Bank, the European Systemic Risk Board, the International Monetary Fund, and the Bank for International Settlements.
The appointment is effective immediately and brings the council to a total of 18 members.
Railpen – The manager of the £34bn (€39bn) railways pension scheme in the UK has appointed Donna Adams as director of member experience.
Adams joins from Barclays, where she spent more than three decades, most recently as global head of employee operations strategy and employee experience. She held other senior roles at the bank, including global head of digital employee experience and head of employee culture and values transformation.
Adams will be accountable for transforming members’ experience at every stage of their journey and touchpoints with Railpen, reporting directly to Nicola Cromack, Railpen’s chief officer, member services.
Muzinich & Co – The global corporate credit specialist is growing its commitment to “the rapidly expanding private credit market in the US” with three senior hires for its US private debt team: Jens Ernberg joins as co-head, Matthew Bandini as managing director, and Rocco DelGuercio as director of finance. The trio’s careers coincided at previous employers and with current members of Muzinich’s private debt team. Ernberg and Bandini joined Munich from Capital Dynamics, while DelGuercio was most recently CFO and chief compliance officer of Camberline Capital Management.
Vontobel – Georg von Wattenwyl and Charles Karila have assumed joint leadership of structure solutions and treasury for the Swiss asset manager. They succeed Otto Huber, who has decided to leave the company after the sale of cosmofunding to dedicate more time to his family.
Von Wattenwyl joined Vontobel in 1998 and has held senior roles in Europe and Asia. Karila joined Vontobel in 2017 to build up the firm’s investment solutions capability and will retain leadership of that team as he steps into the co-head role alongside von Wattenwyl.
Broadstone – Damien Burke has joined the UK consultancy as head of regulatory practice. He brings more than 25 years of experience working in banking and lending with specialisms covering credit risk analytics, compliance, and regulatory responsiveness within the banking sector.
He was previously a partner and head of regulatory practice at 4most between 2015 and 2021, before taking on the role of CEO at Custom Credit until May this year.
Keyridge Asset Management – Campbell Fleming has been named chair of the newly established investment arm of Great-West Lifeco, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience at major investment organisations, including AssetCo, Aberdeen Standard Investments, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and JPMorgan Asset Management UK.
Campbell now serves on the boards of several financial services, private companies as well as industry and charitable bodies in the UK, MEA and Australia, most recently at Ruffer, as deputy chair.
Great-West Lifeco launched Keyridge in November as the new brand for its European asset management business. It combines Irish Life Investment Managers, Setanta Asset Management, and Canada Life Asset Management’s external funds business to reach over £135bn (€154bn) in assets under management and a team of 300 investment professionals.
