GLOBAL – APG, Investec Asset Management, AFS Group
APG – David Shammai has joined the nine-strong responsible investment team of the €336bn Dutch asset manager APG as a senior corporate governance specialist. He has been tasked with governance in capital market investments. Previously, Shammai worked as a remuneration consultant and in-house reward specialist at KPMG, Royal Bank of Scotland and Hay Group.
Investec Asset Management – Frans van Leeuwen has been appointed European client and business director. He joins from Insight Investment, where he served as client director. Before then, he held a similar role at Threadneedle Asset Management. He has also worked at Philips & Drew, where he was client relationship manager, and Philip Alexander, where he was a futures and options broker.
AFS Group – Due to increased activity, AFS Group, the independent multi-asset brokerage firm for institutional parties, has appointed five new fixed income salespersons in recent months – Ana Almeida, Olga Yersh, Mirna Delis, Jan Hofman and Frank Juffermans. In addition, Godfried Le Blanc has joined the credit sales team.
