GLOBAL - Forca, Aberdeen Asset Management, Neuberger Berman, Foresight Group, HarbourVest

Forca - Carsten Koch has been appointed chairman of the board of trustees at the Danish joint pensions administration group Forca. Koch, who was director of LD until last May, replaces Peter Damgaard Jensen, who will move into the position of deputy chairman of the board of trustees. Damgaard Jensen is managing director of pension fund group PKA and has been chairman of the Forca board of trustees since Lærernes Pension, PKA and PBU set up the organisation in 2006.

Aberdeen Asset Management - Sonja Tilly has been hired as an analyst within the company's multi-manager team. She joins from Broadstone Pensions & Investments, where she was responsible for fixed income manager research and selection, covering traditional and absolute return strategies. Before then, she worked at Stanhope Capital. At Aberdeen, she will help manage the team's range of pooled funds, specifically focusing on fixed income funds.

Neuberger Berman - The employee-controlled asset manager has appointed Robert Schlichting as managing director and head of distribution for operations in Germany and Austria. He joins from Schroder Investment Management, where he was head of institutional business for the same region. Before then, he worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Management and JP Morgan Asset Management.
 
Foresight Group - Sarah Cole has been appointed head of institutional investor relations at the alternative asset manager and private equity house. She joins from Winton Capital Management, where she was vice-president of UK and US institutional clients. Before then, she worked in New York as a specialist hedge fund consultant, and for Citigroup's Capital Introductions team in London.

HarbourVest - Stuart Howard has joined as chief operating officer of European listed products. Based in London, he will oversee the operations of HarbourVest Global Private Equity and HarbourVest Senior Loans Europe, two listed investment companies managed by HarbourVest affiliates. He joins from 3i, where he spent more than 10 years, most recently as COO for Asia and the Americas.
