GLOBAL - AP7, The Pensions Trust, SVB, Lombard Odier Investment Managers, British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, BNP Paribas Investment Partners, P-Solve, Schroders, BlackRock, Aberdeen Asset Management

AP7 - The Swedish government has appointed Patrik Tolf as a board member at AP7, the default fund within the country's defined contribution system. Tolf is currently chief financial officer at Volvo Car Corporation. At present, it is unclear whether he will replace someone at AP7 or be an addition to the eight-strong board, headed by Bo Källstrand.

The Pensions Trust - Sarah Smart has been re-appointed chair of the trustee board, a position she has held since April 2010. She is also currently a board member at the London Pensions Fund Authority. Jonathan Cawthra and Maggie Rodger have been appointed to the board of directors, while Keith Nunn has been re-elected to the board.

SVB - Nicoly Vermeulen has been appointed chairman at the Social Security Bank (SVB), the provider of the Dutch state pension AOW. On 1 June, she will succeed Erry Stové, who is to retire after 10 years in the job. Vermeulen has been a member of the executive board of the SVB since 1 January 2010 and has previously worked at ING.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers - Marcel van Ostaden has been appointed head of sales for the Benelux region, where he will be responsible for existing and new clients, including the fiduciary management business. He joins from BlackRock, where he has been a sales director in the Netherlands since 2005. Before then, he worked for F&C Asset Management in the Netherlands.

British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) - Robert Easton, a managing director and co-head of Carlyle Europe Technology Partners, has succeeded Richard Anton, partner at Amadeus Capital Partners, as BVCA chairman. Simon Clark, managing partner at Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, becomes vice-chairman.
 
BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) - François Hullo has been appointed head of BNP Paribas Asset Management Fixed Income. Hullo will lead a team of some 100 professionals in eight locations globally. David Bouchoucha will succeed Hullo as head of institutional sales for Southern Europe.

P-Solve - Niall Alexander and Phil Jones have joined as senior associates to the defined contribution team to strengthen the consultancy's specialist investment approach. Alexander joins from Willis in Dublin, while Jones moves across from P-Solve's parent company, Punter Southall Group.
 
Schroders - Tom Williams is to join as structurer within the asset manager's portfolio solutions team. Before joining, Williams worked for Jefferies International as an interest rates derivatives trader and before then at Dresdner Kleinwort as an exotic interest rate derivative trader.

BlackRock - Seven emerging market specialists will be joining from BNP Paribas Investment Partners to form a new emerging markets debt team, led by Sergio Trigo-Paz. The new team will be based in London. Further announcements will be made in due course, the company said.

Aberdeen Asset Management - Marloes Martis has been appointed marketing manager for the Benelux region. He joins from Internaxx, a subsidiary of TD bank, where he was responsible for the European Marketing.
