UK – Consulting actuaries firm, Punter Southall has appointed Graham Forest-Jones as group marketing director to its London office. The move follows the recent appointment of Graeme Muir as head of the group’s public sector pensions department.

Forest-Jones joins from Aon Consulting, a brand-name which Punter Southall credits him as launching in the UK in 1997.

Says Jonathan Punter, co-founder of Punter Southall and chief executive of Sanlam Financial Services, which merged with Punter Southall’s parent company, PSigma in 2000: “Not only has Forest-Jones held very senior marketing positions in other pension consultancies, but he has managed and developed web-based communications businesses. Forest-Jones’s appointment reflects our determination to continue, and further develop, our strategy of sustaining high rates of growth.”

Forest-Jones will take over as marketing director for the group which includes independent financial advisors, PSFM, investment solutions consultancy, PSolve, performance measurement firm, PS Ashland and investment management firms, io investors and Hichens Investment Management.

These companies together with Punter Southall make up Sanlam Financial Services, the Netherlands-based overseas subsidiary of South African group, Sanlam.
