UK – Schroders has confirmed that former chief investment officer Mark Pignatelli is to leave the company by “mutual consent”.

“Yes, he’s leaving,” said Schroder Investment Management spokesman Julian Samways. The 38-year-old executive, who returned to his role in European equities in September, will leave in mid-April.

Samways was not able to say where Pignatelli is going, although he said Pignatelli was not currently managing clients’ money.

The move comes as Ken Lambden completes his previously announced transfer from Australia to London to be global head of equities.

Schroders recently hired Susan Douse from Watson Wyatt as head of product management and consultant relationships.
