The managing director of European index provider Stoxx Ltd, Scott Stark, is to leave company and will be replaced on an interim basis by the SWX Swiss Exchange’s Ettore Candolfi.
The company, a joint venture of Deutsche Börse, Dow Jones & Co. and SWX Swiss Exchange says that Scott Stark has announced his departure to “pursue other opportunities”.
Candolfi would be the acting interim managing director as of January 1.
The company also reshuffled its supervisory board. Candolfi will be replaced on the board by SWX Management Board member Werner Buerki while Dow Jones’ David Moran will be replaced by his DJ colleague Mike Petronella, who is president of Dow Jones Indexes.
Dow Jones, SWX and Deutsche Boerse became sole owners of the company earlier in December when they bought Euronext Paris’s 25% stake.
