A Swiss occupational pension fund has used IPE Quest to search for asset managers for an emerging markets (EM) all cap equity mandate that could be worth up to CHF2.2bn (€2.05bn).

According to search QN-2731, the fund is seeking fund managers to invest between CHF800m and CHF2.2bn in a core passive strategy following the MSCI Emerging Markets IMI (Net) as benchmark.

Interested participants need to state performance as of 30 September 2021 and should have at least CHF3bn of assets under management for the stated asset class, with a minimum of CHF20bn in total AUM.

The pension scheme is also requiring a minimum of three years of absolute track record, but five years is preferred.

The tender notice also mentions the scheme would be looking to invest in a segregated account with a single investor fund structure under Swiss law.

The deadline to participate in the search has been set for 29 October at 5pm UK time.
