SWITZERLAND - SYZ has integrated its institutional asset management activities into a newly created division, SYZ Asset Management (SYZ AM).

The Swiss banking group said SYZ AM would now manage all of its institutional mandates, both traditional and alternative, as well as investment funds, while Banque SYZ will offer products such as the OYSTER funds or 3A funds to professional intermediaries.

SYZ AM will offer institutional investors long-only funds in equities and fixed income and multi-asset absolute return mandates, as well as advice, fund selection and portfolio management in alternative asset classes.

The bank said the new asset management division would have its own dedicated resources for research, analysis, portfolio and risk management, marketing and operations.

Paolo Luban, managing partner at SYZ and head of asset management, said the integration of institutional activities into the new division would position the company as a "particularly versatile institutional asset manager".
