BELGIUM - Ronald Domen has been appointed national pensions manager for Unilever in Belgium as of the start of this month.

He has taken over from 60-year-old Walter van Look, who has taken early retirement after more than nine years in the job.

Domen has been human resources manager of Unilever Belgium. He declined to comment further.

Unilever has seen several of its top pensions managers in the Netherlands leave this year, including managing director Alco Vernooy and chief investment officer Walther Schapendonk.

Vernooy retired – but Schapendonk left over a plan to pool scheme assets.
