SWEDEN – Johan Sidenmark has left Watson Wyatt Worldwide’s Stockholm office nine months after joining the benefits and investment consultancy from rivals Mercer Human Resource Consulting.

Sidenmark joined Watson Wyatt as head of its Nordic region consultancy operation. He is going to Nordea Investment Management as senior account manager and to head up its Swedish asset allocation operation.

A spokesman for Nordea denies they are specifically competing with consultants.

Though Watson Wyatt is looking for a replacement, the role has now been split into two.

Colin Haines will look after the benefits consulting side temporarily until a new permanent head is appointed. He will work closely with Erik Linder-Aronson, Watson’s managing consultant in Stockholm.

In September, Crispin Lace will relocate to Stockholm from Watson’s London office to take over its investment consulting business for the Nordic region.
