SWEDEN – Elizabeth Wass, head of the benefits team at Watson Wyatt’s Stockholm office, has left the firm.

The consulting firm confirmed that Wass had left in connection with a restructuring exercise, which has seen some members of the Stockholm staff move to Watson Wyatt’s UK-based European centre.

She joined the firm in 2003 from pensions advisory firm Savecap AB.

IPE understands that Stefan Carlsson, senior consultant in the same team as Wass, has also left the firm. Carlsson joined Watson Wyatt in October 2003 after stints at SPP Konsult, Price Waterhouse and Max Matthiesen Group.

Watson Wyatt has stressed that its commitment to the Swedish market was unchanged.

The departures follow that of Erik Linder-Aronson, managing director, who left the firm in February.

Earlier this month the consulting firm said it was reviewing its branding following the merger of its US and European arms.
