GLOBAL - Morley, F&C, Fortis, Credit Suisse, Watson Wyatt, EIB, East Capital, AWD/MLP, BDO Stoy Hayward, ASSET4.

Morley - Siobhan Boylan, previously director of group financial reporting for Aviva, last week replaced David Watson as chief financial officer (CFO) at the fund manager. Watson has moved from within Aviva to become CFO of Aviva Europe. Morley has also appointed Swiss Re's Georgina Marshall to the newly-created position of corporate governance manager.

F&C - F&C is looking for a new director of sales and client service for Germany following Andreas Steinmeier's departure. He had joined F&C in 2004 from Commerzbank's Cominvest Asset Management, where he was head of institutional marketing and sales.

Fortis Investments - Olivier Lafont has been promoted to replace Peter de Proft as chief executive in Belgium with effect from September 1. De Proft left last week to join the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).

Credit Suisse - BNP Paribas Asset Management's Jiří Musil has been appointed head of distribution for asset management in the Czech Republic. Based in Prague, he will be responsible for both retail and institutional distribution covering the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Watson Wyatt - Richard Boyfield has joined Watson Wyatt's Manchester team as a senior consultant in the benefits team, from Mercer Human Resources Consulting. Douglas Crawshaw, from Morley Fund Management, will also join Watson Wyatt's real estate team. while David Gold is set to arrive from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he was a senior associate. David is a hedge funds manager research consultant based in New York.

European Investment Bank - Dario Scannapieco, director-general of the privatisation and finance deparment inside the Italian ministry of Economy and Finance, will succeed Gerlando Genuardi as vice-president on the EIB Management Committee. He will take over Genuardi's portfolio, supervising financing operations in Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and in the Western Balkans, as well as overseeing the EIB's structured finance facility, budget, accounting and information technology services. Scannapieco will also represent the EIB as a governor of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

East Capital - Luca Pierazzi has been appointed as head of the company's new Milan office. Pierazzi was previously head of the bond desk at NatWest.

AWD/MLP - German financial adviser AWD has recruited Nils Frowein as its new chief financial officer, effectively immediately. Until last June, Frowein was the CFO of MLP, AWD's chief rival in Germany. Meanwhile, MLP said it had hired Muhyddin Suleiman as its new chief sales executive (CSE). The former CSE, Eugen Bucher, left MLP a year ago following a slump in the firm's sales. MLP chief executive Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg had assumed Bucher's responsibilities in the interim.

BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management -  Helen Roberts has been promoted to finance director at the wealth management firm's London office. She will take the lead in managing the company's financial reporting, the company said.

Paternoster - Both David Briscome and Patrick Schoeb have joined Mark Wood's pension buyout firm. Briscome, director of finance and actuarial (India), joins from ING (India) where he was chief financial officer. Schoeb is Paternoster's new head of credit with specific responsibility for Paternoster's bond portfolio, having previously served as a fund manager at Canada Life.

ASSET4 - Oracle's Joachim Asbrede has been appointed as the new chief operating officer at the Switzerland-based provider of corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) information for professional investors.
