PGGM - Wim Walter has been appointed chief marketing officer (CMO) at the Dutch PGGM fund. He was promoted earlier this month and now has responsibility for product management. From January, Paul Wevers, who is currently director of corporate communications at PGGM, has been appointed director of strategic accounts. Anne-Else Højberg will replace him.

Mercer -- Giles Archibald has been promoted to global leader for international consulting within Mercer's retirement business. Currently based in New York, he will transfer in January to the UK.

Watson Wyatt
- P-Solve's Philip Tindall will start in January at the firm's London investment strategy team. Gavin Counsell has left Aon in November to work as an investment consultant in the Reigate investment strategy team.

P-Solve Asset Solutions - In the mean time, P-Solve has appointed Russell's Justin von Tunzelman as client relationship manager and Rajdeep Hunjan, from Hewitt Associates, as governance associate.

BlackRock - JP Morgan's Brian Hird is joining the London-based strategic advice service (SAS) team, which assists clients in setting their investment strategy. He will be involved in running and developing models the SAS team uses to provide investment analysis and advice to clients.

Punter Southall - Kevin Burgess has joined the firm's Wokingham office on November 26. He previously was an actuary and consultant at Aon Limited.

F&C Investments - Jorry Noeddekaer
is the new director of the firm's pacific equities team. He previously worked at New Star Asset Management. Also, George S. Dallas is the new director for corporate governance, joining from S&P. Both are based in London.

Sinopia Asset Management - Pierre Séquier has been appointed to replace Philippe Goimard as global chief executive officer of the quantitative specialist arm of the HSBC Group. He previously was deputy CEO and chief investment officer. Goimard has been made chief executive officer of HSBC Investments in France.
