GLOBAL - Credit Suisse Asset Management,  Legal & General IM, Hermes BPK Partners, Watson Wyatt, LaSalle IM

Credit Suisse Asset Management - There have been 18 appointments made within the firm's distribution division, headed by Mark Bourgeois, managing director and head of distribution for asset management. Among those based in London, Remy Kawkabani, previously a global co-head of Credit Suisse's private funds group and now a managing direct, will be responsible for institutional distribution in Europe (ex-Switzerland). Mark Memmert, previously focused on mezzanine real estate loans to German institutions within the investment bank, is now MD covering Germany and Austrian institutions. And Alex Ricchebuono left Investec Asset Management, where he looked after continental European distribution, in May and is now MD focused on France and Italy.

Legal & General IM - Hugh Cutler has been appointed as head of distribution to develop LGIM's new business strategy both in the UK and overseas. He was previously at Barclays Global Investors as co-head of the global strategic solutions group.

Hermes BPK Partners - Mark Smith-Lyons has been appointed chief operating officer, having previously been head of change management for fund services at Crosby Forsyth.

Watson Wyatt - Fabio Carniol has left insurance company Cattolica where he was head of the bancassurance and employee benefits to become leader of Watson Wyatt's Italian benefits team.

LaSalle IM - Chris Martin has been appointed as regional director and head of asset management for Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will report Philip Ling, MD for Asia Pacific at the firm. He previously worked at  LendLease in Australia and GPT Group.
