GLOBAL - Previs Personalvorsorgestiftung, French Public Service Additional Pension Scheme, KAS Bank, Baring Asset Management, AXA Investment Managers, F&C Investments, State Street Corporation

Previs Personalvorsorgestiftung - Claudio Zulauf, a former board member at Aon Consulting Switzerland, has joined the board of the CHF2.1bn (€1.6bn) Previs Personalvorsorgestiftung. He replaces Irene Obielum, who left the multi-employer fund for public service companies earlier this year. Zulauf is responsible for pension administration at Previs, reporting to Stefan Muri, chairman of the board and head of asset management.

The French Public Service Additional Pension Scheme (ERAFP) - Catherine Vialonga started as chief investment officer at ERAFP at the beginning of this month. Since 2006, Vialonga has been director of assets and ALM for mutual pension and savings insurance company CARAC. Before then, she held roughly the same position at Ecureuil Vie, the life insurance subsidiary of the Caisse d'Epargne. Vialonga is a member of the Institute of French Actuaries.

KAS Bank - Frank Vogel is set to join as managing director of sales at the bank's German branch at the beginning of next year. He will be responsible for all sales activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Over the last 10 years, Vogel has worked for Citigroup, first in London and then, as of 2003, in Frankfurt. Prior to that, he held a position at the London Stock Exchange for three years.

Baring Asset Management - Thanasis Petronikolos has been appointed director of Barings' fixed income and currency team, responsible for managing exposure to emerging market debt and currencies. Petronikolos, who joins from RAB Capital, will also manage the asset manager's new Emerging Markets Debt Local Currency fund, subject to regulatory approval. He will be based in London and report to Alan Wilde, head of fixed income and currency.

AXA Investment Managers - Julian Thompson and Jules Mort are set to join AXA IM as head of global emerging markets and senior portfolio manager, respectively, by the end of this year. Thompson will be responsible for leading the development and growth of the emerging markets equities desk, which includes Irina Topa-Serry in Paris and Mort in London. He will also take over as lead manager on the AXA Framlington Emerging Markets fund. 

F&C Investments - Randeep Grewal and Sam Cosh have joined F&C as senior fund managers. Grewal joins from ICAP Equities, having spent more than 10 years at Tudor Capital, while Cosh joins from BNP Investment Partners, where he was a senior portfolio manager. They will report to Paras Anand, head of European equities.

State Street Corporation - Samuel Cole is set to join next month as executive vice-president and deputy head of State Street's e-Exchange business, a subsidiary that provides trading services for foreign exchange, swaps, US treasuries and exchange-traded derivatives. Cole will be responsible for product, technology and operational activities across the e-Exchange portfolio.
