UK – The Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority is to hold a workshop to explain new rules on reporting problems with pension schemes.
OPRA says it will host a “technical workshop” for scheme auditors and actuaries about its new reporting guidelines. The event will feature case studies, said OPRA spokesman Nick Edmans.
“We’re trying to help the whistleblowers understand how the guidelines work,” he said.
“The event marks the publication of OPRA's revised reporting guidelines for statutory whistleblowers,” the body said. “It outlines matters on which OPRA does and does not expect to scheme auditors and actuaries to report.”
OPRA has recently shifted its focus to looking at the key risks to pension scheme members' interests.
Places at the event are limited to around 50. If there is sufficient interest, it may organise road shows around the country. The event will take place in London on October 21.
