UK - Ben Clissold has joined State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) as senior portfolio manager for liability-driven investment.

Clissold, based in London, started his new role at SSgA on 1 August, joining from P-Solve Asset Solutions, where he was most recently deputy chief investment officer.

He was promoted to this role - reporting to CIO Glyn Jones - earlier this year.

Clissold's promotion followed the return of Andrew Drake as managing director.

Prior to joining P-Solve - which he left at the end of June this year - Clissold was in charge of equity derivatives trading at Dutch bank ING.

IPE understands other members of the team at P-Solve have also left the company over the last months.

Kevin Haywood, who was senior associate, is now actuarial analyst at Friends Provident.

Callum webb and Mikhail Tikilyaynen, who were part of the risk management solutions team, have also left P-Solve to pursue other interests.
