POLAND/LITHUANIA – The Warsaw Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania have signed a memorandum of co-operation that will involve the sharing of information, experience and technology.

The memorandum highlights a number of key areas of co-operation including the mutual promotion of both markets in their respective investment communities and the harmonisation of market regulations.

The co-operation between the exchanges is expected to facilitate and stimulate cross-border trading in the future.
Implementation on the Lithuanian exchange of a trading system based on the WARSET technology is also being investigated .
