UK - Real estate consultancy EC Harris has hired Lane Clark & Peacock to provide actuarial, investment and pension administration services to the group’s closed defined benefit pension scheme.

“The appointment comes as the trustees of the schemes tried to consolidate the actuarial consulting and pension administration business with a single provider,” said Allan Stevenson, chairman of the scheme’s trustees.

“LCP has demonstrated its commitment to our business and has the ability to offer a full range of consulting and administration services,” Stevenson also said.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mark Jackson, partner at LCP, part of the Alexander Forbes Group, said: “To be endorsed by a major consultancy such as EC Harris demonstrates the breadth and depth of our actuarial, investment and administration service for pension schemes.”

“We understand the current demands placed on pension funds trustees and will use our expertise and understanding of the pension market and current legislation to provide EC Harris with the support it requires to meet the needs of its scheme members” Jackson added.

EC Harris was unavailable for comment.
