A highly self-serving comment from InsuranceEurope. DC can indeed be made comparable to insurance (see the situation in Denmark, where the difference is nil), so that their rather worn "level-playing-field" comments apply there. However, DB is quite different (see the situation in the Netherlands, where pension and insurance groups see each other in court quite often.) By trying to catch DB with arguments applying to DC, InsuranceEurope makes a false comparison that can only hurt its credibility.
