Roberts leaves NAPF to head back to BBC

UK – Rhoslyn Roberts has been appointed head of pensions for the British Broadcasting Corporation’s (BBC) £7bn (€11bn) UK staff pension fund.

Roberts will rejoin the BBC in November after four years as director of benefits at the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), where she was also recently appointed deputy director general.

However, her work will continue at the NAPF as UK representative to the European Federation for Retirement Provision (EFRP).

Says Roberts of her impending move : “The NAPF is the ideal learning ground to be able to move on to manage a pension fund of the size of the BBC’s. It the_NAPF has given me a breadth of thinking and understanding of government practices in relation to pension funds and I shall be sorry to leave.”
