NORWAY – Frank Russell Company has teamed up with DnB Investor – the mutual fund arm of Den Norske Bank, to launch its multi manager product into the Norwegian market next month.

The launch is Russell’s first foray into the Scandinavian region with its multi-manager, multi asset, multi style concept and marks a further step in the group’s intention to build up partnerships with other European financial providers.

The investment programme called DnB Multi will initially offer clients three globally diversified funds, each with a specific risk/return profile that can be tailored to clients’ needs.
The DnB Multi 50 fund will have a mix of 50% global fixed-income and 50% global equity. DnB Multi 75 will see the global equity component rise to 75% and DnB 100 will be a 100% equity fund.
The DnB Multi structure will be able to use 29 investment manager teams covering seven asset classes and fourteen investment styles.

Frédéric Jolly, managing director Europe, Middle East and Africa at Russell, comments: “We are very pleased to bring the multi-manager funds to Scandinavia through this alliance with DnB Investor, a market leader in investments. We’ve worked hard with DnB Investor to come up with a product hat suits its customers and we are very confident that this multi-manager programme will be well received.”

Russell’s multi-manager partnerships in Europe to date have brought in over e8bnin assets, according to the group.
