Singer and Danske join forces

Singer & Friedlander Investment Management (SFIM) and Danske Capital Management, the fund management arm of Denmark's Den Danske Bank, have gone into partnership to manage Pan European mid and small cap equities.
SFIM will be the advisers to the product from their London base, and the first Danske CM clients to be affected by the joint venture are expected to invest in a Danish unit trust to be launched soon by Danske Invest.
Peter Preisler, senior vice president at Danske CM, said: We are expecting the market to focus again in the future on mid and small caps, and with SFIM's strong track record we will now begin promoting this product to Danish institutions.
And Peter Dencik, director and head of institutional division at SFIM, commented: "We are delighted to be joining forces with a leading Danish fund manager with the impressive distribution capacity of Danske.""
