GLOBAL – State Street Global Markets, the investment research and trading arm of State Street Corp., has hired former Credit Suisse First Boston executive Robert Sisti as global head of operations.

“Sisti will be responsible for overseeing the global operational infrastructure that supports equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and money market trading,” the firm said. He will report to the unit’s head, Stanley Shelton.

"We're delighted to welcome Bob to State Street," said Shelton. "His wealth of experience in building and managing global equity operations will be a tremendous asset to us.”

Before he joined State Street, Sisti was global business manager responsible for Credit Suisse First Boston's worldwide equity derivative and convertible unit, the Boston-based bank said. Before that he was at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
