The pension fund director of Dutch engineering company Stork has been fired.
Luc van Gastel had been managing director of the E2bn pension fund since 1984, and was due to retire at the beginning of April. However, as a result of “mismanagement and fraud”, he was fired, according to corporate director Pim van Dorp, who is taking over the position on an interim basis. The company declined to elaborate further on van Gastel’s actions.
