Global managers collectively reported an increase in passively-managed assets. In line with the trend of the past decade, passively-managed assets rose form 32% in 2024 to 35% at the end of last year. Actively-managed assets, as reported by managers in IPE’s dataset, have fallen almost uninterruptedly from a peak of 83% in 2018.
