EUROPE – Some of the leading figures in European pensions are set to debate the challenges facing the industry in an online symposium on November 23.

Confirmed speakers on the IPe-symposium include Peter Borgdorff, Roland van den Brink, Robin Ellison, Terry Faulkner, Jean Frijns, Alf Gohdes, Chris Hitchen, Jussi Laitinen, Bjarne Graven Larsen, Anne Maher, Koen de Ryck, Jan Straatman, Karel Stroobants and Roger Urwin.

The topic is “The challenges in meeting Europe’s occupational pensions liabilities” and the event is free to all.

“This one-day event is presented over the internet and thus allows you to take part in a high-level symposium from your own workplace without significant interference to your daily schedule,” says IPE Editor Fennell Betson.

“The first IPe-symposium will look at the highly-topical and thought-provoking issue of meeting the challenges of Europe's occupational pensions liabilities.

The symposium is accessible to anyone with a computer, a soundcard and an Internet connection.

The presentations consist of a slideshow coupled with the speaker's live, spoken presentation. Each presentation lasts for 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session of 10 minutes.
