UK – Towers Perrin has hired two consultants from Watson Wyatt, Huck Ch'ng and David Finn.

“The appointments will help to expand Towers Perrin’s UK-based global consulting practice,” the firm said in a statement. The additions take its qualified actuaries in the UK to 232.

“We are delighted to have Huck and David on board,” said Nigel Bateman, UK head of Towers Perrin’s Global Consulting Group. “They bring with them a wealth of experience of helping multinationals manage their pensions and employee benefits.”

Towers Perrin said Huck worked as a consultant at Watson Wyatt dealing with scheme actuary work, mergers and acquisitions and pensions accounting.

Towers added that Finn was responsible for designing pension schemes for UK-based multinationals. Both are fellows of the Institute of Actuaries.

Watson Wyatt spokesman Bruce Wraight said both left in the summer. They were part of the firm's 100+ strong benefits consulting team in London and were not directly replaced.
