AUSTRIA – Consulting firm Towers Perrin has formed an alliance partnership agreement with Austrian actuarial and benefits consulting firm Greco International.

The deal is the latest in a series of partnerships for Towers Perrin in central and eastern Europe. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Vienna-based Greco is active in Austria as well as Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia.

“We are delighted to announce this agreement with Greco International,” said Alan Botterill, European managing director of Towers Perrin’s HR Services business.

“There is no other firm with the breadth and depth of experience and expertise of helping companies with employee benefits issues in Austria and eastern Europe.”

“These markets are growing in importance to multinational firms and we look forward to helping Towers Perrin’s clients establish and grow their operations in these countries,” added Hemma Massera, manager of Greco’s benefits business.

Earlier this month Towers announced a similar agreement with Trio Management in Poland. Earlier agreements include deals with HRK Partners and Gassner & Partners in Germany. Towers Perrin bought German actuarial firm Rauser in 2005.

Greco International was founded in 1925 and now works for many of the largest companies in Austria, as well as in the region, and in total has over 300 employees.
