POLAND - Towers Perrin HR Services has signed an alliance partnership agreement with Warsaw-based employee benefits and actuarial consultancy Trio Management.

Towers said the pact would provide its clients with access to the employee benefits and related actuarial expertise and local market knowledge of the leading Polish consultancy, which was founded in 2001.

Both firms would work together in conducting joint cross border actuarial, due diligence and benefits-related activity. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Poland is becoming an increasingly important national market since its accession into the EU," said Alan Botterill, European managing director of Towers Perrin HR Services.

"This alliance partnership agreement with Trio Management gives Towers Perrin's global clients access to local employee benefits and actuarial expertise.

"This agreement, together with our alliance with HRK Partners which focuses on compensation related activity, completes our ability to provide multinationals with a full range of HR consulting services in this important, growing market."

"We are excited at the prospect of becoming a member of Towers Perrin's global alliance network and look forward to helping multinational companies operate successfully in Poland," added Trio managing partner Adam Cudny.

"The agreement will also become increasingly important as our clients seek to grow and expand operations in Europe and beyond."
