Consultant Watson Wyatt is to see in the millennium with a new global structure for its investment practice and the establishment of an investment practice in New York.
Roger Urwin, head of the UK and European investment practice, will head the new global entity and oversee the strategic development of the practice, while continuing to work with European clients.
Nick Watts will succeed Urwin as head of the UK and European operations and he, along with Phil Schneider and Naomi Denning, regional heads of the North America and Asian operations, will report to Urwin.
The firm’s New York investment office will be headed by Chris Ford, a senior investment consultant at the company’s Reigate offices in the UK.
The new US practice will focus on serving multinational clients and work with the company’s asset liability modelling team in New York.
