BELGIUM/NETHERLANDS – Brussels-based Vanguard Investment Europe has made a sortie into the Dutch pensions market to recruit a new marketing executive with the hire of Olof Könst, a fund manager from Rijswijk-based metalworkers fund managers, MN Services.

Könst, who has been with MN Services for around five years, says he felt that the time had come to expand his horizons.
He will move across the border to work in Vanguard’s Belgian office and describes his new challenge as going from “managing a pile of assets to chasing a pile of assets.”

While MN has yet to find a direct replacement for Könst, the fund has taken on Wouter Pelser as a senior consultant from Dutch pension scheme HBG.
