UK – Consulting firm Watson Wyatt has hired Russell Investment Group’s Robin Penfold as a senior investment consultant.

It said: “Robin joins from Russell Investment Group where he held a number of investment consulting positions during the past 11 years.

“Robin has UK and US experience which includes risk budgeting, investment strategy and investment communications. He will be based in Reigate and work as a senior investment consultant.”

“Robin has broad investment knowledge and significant client experience, which combined with his strong financial and analytical skills, constitutes a valuable addition to our consulting teams,” said Kevin Carter, the firm’s European head of investment consulting.

Old Mutual’s Johan Kriek is also joining the team as an investment analyst.

Elsewhere, Hewitt Associates has hired Watson Wyatt’s Nerida Seccombe to be a senior actuary in its new superannuation and asset consulting business, based in Melbourne, Australia.
