UK – Consulting firm Watson Wyatt has advertised job vacancies for manager researchers, based in Reigate or London.

“We seek dedicated manager researchers to join our fixed income teams (regional and multi-regional equities, and government and corporate bonds in all major currencies),” says the ad in the Financial Times.

It adds that building relationships with fund mangers is “crucial” to the job – as is assimilated and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data.

“You will use your specialist knowledge to help lead research meetings, to formulate house views and inform clients’ thinking and investment approach.” The firm has more than 150 people in manager research.

It also said it is looking for a senior defined contribution investment consultant for a team that services nearly 400 clients.

“We seek a senior DC specialist with a thorough knowledge of DC providers and products and an understanding of performance metrics,” the ad states.

Both roles are as a result of “strong growth” and come with excellent salary and benefits, the ad says.
