Watson Wyatt’s Loughlin returns to New York

UK – Watson Wyatt says its global defined contribution coordinator, Christine Loughlin, is to return to its New York office after a two-year stint in the UK.

“Christine Loughlin is rejoining the US investment consulting practice in New York after two years in the UK where she focused on the global coordination of Watson Wyatt's defined contribution plan consulting,” said the firm in a statement.

A spokesman said Loughlin had been on assignment in the UK and that there would be “no direct replacement” – though the team would get the resources it needs to fill the gap.

"Jon Parker has been brought in from the Birmingham office and Alex O'Dea was appointed last year to augment the team Christine Loughlin worked in, while Andy Hunt will continue to oversee the DC investment clients that she advised."

Loughlin’s return to the New York investment practice coincides with the recruitment of three new senior investment consultants in the office - Paul Morgan, Matthew Stroud and Antonio Tan-Torres.

And it added that Carl Hess, global director of asset allocation, has taken on the additional role of office practice leader in New York.
